Sabin SUN Community School Adult and Family Classes

Sabin SUN Community School is offering adult and family classes this winter. The adult and family classes are free of charge and open to anyone, regardless of whether you are a Sabin student or friend or family of a Sabin student! Winter term starts on January 19 and runs through March 11. All classes are held at Sabin PK-8, located at 4013 NE 18th. Family Printmaking
Grades K & up and parents/family members.
Monday 5:30-6:30PM, snacks included!

Artists of all ages come together and learn how to do basic screen printing with contact paper and relief printing from scratch foam plates. Collaborate, exchange, print, expand and create! Suggested donation of $7 per individual to cover supplies.

Family Fiber Arts
Grades 2 & up and parents/family members
Tuesday 4:30-5:30PM
10 spots available
Learn knitting skills and make a winter hat to keep you warm.

Yoga
Adults (18 years and up only)
Tuesday 5:30-6:30PM
Join Amanda, a certified Hatha yoga Instructor, for this class in which you will unwind and learn basic yoga positions. All ability levels welcome.

Sabin Gardens work party!
Sabin Gardens will be having a work party on February 20th and 21st to get the Garden ready for spring planting and build additional vegetable beds. Sabin Gardens, a collaboration of Sabin PTA, Sabin PK-8 and Sabin SUN Community School brings together students and community members to learn more about nutrition, gardening basics, and an appreciation of the origins of food.
